We are
Aurajoki Overflow is a tech meetup focused on all of the nooks and crannies of working in software.
We organize events and workshops for software professionals
Meetups
Aurajoki Overflow meetups are a monthly events where we get together and discuss a common topic.
Topics
Each meetup will host 1 main subject with 2-3 presentation on varying variations on the topic.
e.g. A Code Editor themed meetup might host talks on vim & emacs
Not just presentations
The meetups are the perfect place to find likeminded peers and maybe even hold a lightning talk
Hosting an event
For companies, hosting the meetup works as a perfect opportunity to get dozens of professionals to your offices and show them that you care about the local tech culture.
The only thing you will be in charge of is providing the meetup a proper space: A space with a presentation setup/tv and room for the audience, as well as some food and drinks for the attendees to enjoy while they learn. That's it. We will handle the rest: The marketing, registrations, speakers etc.

Submit your proposal for a talk, and we'll figure out a meetup to fit your subject into! It's okay if the your talk isn't 100% complete yet, we can help you with ideas.
